[video] Singing and praying over Aaron

The medication for his seizures isn’t working anymore, and it’s sedating him – they are going to start wearing him off. He is mostly twitching his arms, very small seizures. He usually has a few solid hours, when we are there, that he is calm and has no seizures.

Once weaned off the meds, it’ll be easier for him to wake up. Doctor is very negative. I told him about Aaron moving his eyes and following me and looking right into my eyes even when I moved. He said “No, that’s just his lower brain function” saying that it’s a natural reaction? I don’t think so.
Aaron reacts to everything… like when the nurses come in and suction out his tube in his neck, he moves a lot and starts seizing, he opens his eyes and moves his mouth a lot, very obvious that he doesn’t like it, he’s trying to fight it when they do certain things.

He’s in there, but they don’t think so. The doctor said he has brain damage because he’s not woken up fully yet lol but he hasn’t had a chance to, because the medication. They just jump to conclusion and all are so negative, with no proof of anything that they’re saying.

He has an infection. They first thought pneumonia and they’re trying to find him the right antibiotic. His fever has been better, I’ve been putting peppermint EO on his feet and forehead and that helps his fever a lot.
They are planning on doing another scan on his brain in the next week or so. He breathes on his own once in a while, and today has a good 5-6 breaths in a row on his own, so that’s good. He’s opened his eyes just very slightly so far today, we’ve been singing praises in the hospital! Singing psalms and worshipping Him in Aaron’s room. We’ve been reading psalms and talking to him, joking around with him, reminding him of things from his childhood, telling him what the date and time is and recapping everything for him, daily.

We’ve been with him so far for about 5-6 hours. Holding his hand, massaging his hands, arms, feet and head. Reassuring him when he gets upset when the nurses come in to do stuff.. it’s emotionally draining, but I’m so glad we’re here.

Right now, he’s very calm. No seizures. Just resting while we sing some songs
