[From Michaela] Aaron’s been opening his eyes a lot today. Probably 5-7 times. He looks at me and at things I show him. I guess he’s been breathing on his own for awhile?! News to me, but they’re taking him off the ventilator tomorrow. Also doing a CT scan tonight or tomorrow. Still fighting a bit of an infection because he still has a fever on and off. His stats this later afternoon have improved from this morning. Lower heart rate, higher oxygen level, his blood pressure was a little high, but they haven’t rechecked, he is developing a sore on his back that they’re trying to prevent. But all in all, pretty good.
